On Oct. 24, Upper School students had no classes and instead participated in the annual Class Competition Day. A hallmark part of Homecoming Week, Class Competition Day occurred on a Friday this year for the first time ever. The day included relay race, powder puff football, powder puff cheer, brain bowl and volleyball competitions. Each class earns points for their performance in these events, along with a food drive, class banner, hype video, class spirit and dress up days throughout Homecoming Week. At Upper School Monday Morning Meeting on Oct. 27, Head of Upper School Erich Schneider read the results of Homecoming Week. With 66 points, the seniors were deemed Spirit Cup champions and were given a trophy, which now resides at the senior tables.
