Glowing

         The light.

                   Shining brightly on my face

So bright? Why not of my own brightness?

         On my back

                   Digital worlds.

                            Stifling creativity

Why should I create my own light?

             Too tired to get up

My work.

So fruitless on its own in the face of this light

Is it worth putting my batteries back in?

                         Falling asleep

The weight of this world.

Casting a big shadow from a tiny thing

How can my character compare to the millions I see?

                                           Turned off

My thoughts. My emotions. My feelings. My empathy. 

Reflected on full brightness

Have I not done enough to rest?
