Hurricanes Helene and Milton recently battered our state, leaving behind a trail of devastation. Flooding ruined homes, winds picked apart buildings, and the unforeseen back-to-back catastrophes permanently damaged our communities without remorse. Take a look at some effects of the storms through photos sent to The Chronicle by Upper School students.
A crane crashed into the Tampa Bay Times building in downtown St. Pete. Nobody was working in the offices at the time of the collapse according to the Associated Press. Part of the crane also fell onto the road, causing the street below to be blocked off for weeks.
