Across Pinellas County, communities are in varying levels of repair as residents struggle to find ways to deal with the damage from Hurricanes Helene and Milton, which made landfall in September 2024 and October 2024, respectively. A house in the Riviera Bay neighborhood has debris in the yard awaiting pickup. The residents can live in their house due to the layout—garage on the first floor and all living spaces on the second
